Snack attack

Me (reading the front of the weetabix box): High Fibre, Low Fat, No Preservatives
Lily: what, why?!? why no preservatives?!?!?
Me: well they're not good for you so it's good that they aren't in there.
Lily: but I wanted a snack.

Lily hears Henry crying "You go get Henry and I will stay here and concentrate on this"

She's not even 2 and a half yet for cripes sakes!

Excerpts from lunch on a Friday afternoon

"I love staying at our house"

"and Daddy will come home, I love him and he will stay for 2 years old"

"and I also like playing with you"

"Do you hear that sound? It's making a sound"

"What are you writing for Christmas?"

"What will Daddy come home for?" asks Lily
"Well where is Daddy during the day?" replies Mommy
"He's at work" says Lily
"Then he drives home to see who?" asks Mommy
"Lily!" she replies
"That's right to see his family, Lily, Mommy and Henry" Mommy says
"And he will miss them sooooo much" she answers

Auntie Andrea - a little bit of this and that

Auntie Andrea, Audrey and Domenic were over for dinner on Saturday night.

Andrea passes Lily a piece of garlic bread.
Lily: That guy just give me a piece of bread

Later in the evening I ask Lily for a kiss and she obliges, Daddy asks for one as well and she hops up and back down. She then turns to Andrea, points and at her and says "now this one".
